Patient Experiences
I have been a proponent of Chiropractic for over 25 years and have had
regular treatments for persistent headaches and backaches. Admittedly, alot
of my problems were stress based as I was employed in a high stress job. I
have since retired but still have the occasional headache and backache. My
familiarity of Chiropractic has always been the "snap, crack and crunch"
method and I believed that it was the only thing that could help me. I might
add that a co-worker had mentioned that she was involved in the Atlas method
but I was convinced I was being treated effectively.
As part of my retirement I moved to Somerset, KY from California. My trip to
Kentucky took me 3 weeks as I drove across the US taking in the sights. The
headache that developed was mild and I didn't do anything but take
aspirin for a couple of months. However, when I moved into my new home it
needed a great deal of work, most of it done by me. The bending and pulling;
the pushing and shoving finally put me over the edge and I needed help. My
first move was to get massage therapy, but it couldn't put that which was
out of place back into it's proper position.
As I let my fingers do the walking throught the Yellow Pages I found the ad
for Atlas Chiropractic. I was a little hesitant but decided to give it a
try; afterall, if I didn't like it I could find a "traditional"
Chiropractor. It took 3 visits but I found the relief I needed and was
pleasantly surprised that the relief lasted a lot longer than with the other
method. I am not the type to go for treatment on a regular or preventive
basis - I tend toward crisis care - so getting relief that lasted as long as
it did was quite refreshing.
I think one of the things that I truly appreciate is that it doesn't hurt to
go to the Chiropractor anymore. The Atlas method is gentle and effective and
I would recommend it to anyone.

For years I have dealt with migraines, that has controlled my life .During
the onset of these migraines there was no warning,it affected my vision, times
when everything has gone black for a few seconds, couldn't focus. The migraines
would last up to three days .Earlier this year I had a heart attack. I was
told it was brought on by the migraines, causing spasms of the brain and
coronary artery .I have seen several neurologist and tried different medications
with no success.
After hearing about the success Dr.Tony Sears has had treating patience with
migraines I called and was seen the next day. Dr.Tony Sears and his staff
are a true blessing. About two weeks after treatment started I no longer had
the every day headaches , I used to have migraines at least once a month that
last for days . Thanks to Dr. Tony Sears the migraines are no longer in
control of my life. I've been migraine free for months.

I am a male, 62 years of age and retired. Two years ago, I started building a new log home. In the process of doing that last summer, I herniated two discs in my back and pinched the sciatic nerve. This gave me severe pain in my back and right hip. My right leg was numb from the knee on down. I had very little control of my ankle and foot. I was using a cane to walk and even then I could not go very far or do much of anything. I could barley cook for myself. My family doctor gave me pain pills and muscle relaxers, and it didn't help much.
I would not consider sugery, so on the advice of a friend I went to see Dr. Tony Sears in October 06. By mid December 06 the pain was gone, and almost all the numbness was gone. I no longer use the cane or take the pills. I am back working on my house and doing my own chores. Thanks, Dr. Sears.
